Eden Shochat joined Genesis Partners in 2009 and focuses on software investments with specific emphasis on the financial vertical, mobile applications and the next-generation-datacenter cloud technologies and applications.

Most recently, Eden co-founded and was an early investor in face.com, the world leader in massive, web-scale face recognition in social networks with over 50 billion indexed images. Prior to that, he was a co founder and Chief Technology Officer of Aternity, a Genesis Partners portfolio company specializing in Frontline Performance Intelligence. Prior to founding Aternity, Eden co-founded Delavenne Enterprises, an analytics-based hedge fund and before that served as the Chief Technology Officer for Shells Interactive where he led the development of advanced client-side 3D graphics technologies working closely with the development teams of industry leaders such as Macromedia and Intel®.

Additional projects of Eden’s are the yearly Geekcon conference (in its 5th year now), mentoring in IDC’s Zell and Innovation Lab programs as well as supporting up-and-coming high school students in the Startupseeds initiative.
